What We Learned from Better FAFSA and How We Can Support Students This Year
Tuesday February 18, 2025 11:00am - 11:45am CST
The rollout of the new “better” FAFSA in 23-24 was challenging for everyone – students, families, and those who support them. Delays and glitches exacerbated confusion over the form and the process and led to a nearly 10% drop in FAFSA completions over the previous year. There were, however, some positives, including a much simpler form for those able to complete it. In this session, we’ll share lessons learned and how student success, financial aid, and other professionals can support students.

How to Save a Life in 1 Easy Step
Tuesday February 18, 2025 2:15pm - 3:00pm CST
Approximately 350,000 Americans will go into sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in 2024. Most of those persons will die needlessly simply because the person standing next to them did not know what to do when someone quits breathing and their heart stops. Surviving SCA does not have to be a death sentence, nor does a bystander have to be CPR "certified" to know how to save a life. Learn the secret to survival during this short presentation.
