This session explores the relationship between safety and connection as foundational pieces that promote willingness and engagement when interacting in the classroom or with others. Through discussion and activities, participants will explore how safety and connection impact a readiness to learn and cultivate relationships in the classroom. The guiding outcomes of the session is to help faculty and staff establish a felt sense of safety and create meaningful connections.
