About me
Joe has been at Ozarks Tech since 2019 and the Lead Instructor of Paramedicine since 2020. Prior to that, Joe worked for several years as a paramedic in Springfield. During that time, he completed a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. In 2024, Joe obtained a doctoral degree in psychology with research focusing on emotional intelligence and emotion regulation strategies among emergency medical technicians and paramedics. He hopes to contribute toward improving the work lives of people in essential jobs with notoriously high rates of job dissatisfaction, burnout, and turnover.
