Rachel Fortenberry is the founder of Fortified Elder Law, where she guides families through estate planning, Medicaid eligibility, and asset protection with empathy and expertise. Recognized as one of Biz 417’s 10 for the Next 10, 40 Under 40, and a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Star, Rachel is a passionate advocate for seniors and middle-class families. She has saved her clients over $7 million from being drained by nursing home costs and frequently speaks on simplifying estate planning and avoiding probate.
Active in the Springfield community, Rachel serves as the 2025 President of the Hospice Foundation of the Ozarks and collaborates with organizations like SASS and ProsperU to educate and empower families. When she’s not working, Rachel enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, Brad.
