About me
Mark is currently part of the Safety and Security Department at Ozarks Tech as a trainer. After graduating from Missouri Southern State University, he became a police officer with the Springfield Police Department-Missouri. During his career at SPD he worked in uniform operations, training unit, and the Special Response Team (SWAT). He retired from Springfield PD at the rank of Lieutenant in 2020 with 25 years of service. After retiring he continued teaching as a contract instructor for the Department of State – Antiterrorism Assistance Program where he has taught in several countries. Before becoming a training officer for the Safety and Security Department he briefly was the Director of Safety and Security at Ozarks Tech.
